Harold L. Gray, 79, 305 Dubois Ave., sustained a fatal heart attack Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Greta Domenic, at Elwood. Mr. Gray was president of the Gray Agricultural Supply Co. until his retirement in 1956. He was a past president of the Indiana Grain Dealers Association. He was employed at the former Crabbs Reynolds Taylor Co. here for many years. A member of the Masonic Lodge since 1917, he was elected a Thirty-Third Degree Mason in 1958, the first Crawfordsville man to receive the honor in more than half a century. During his long affiliation with the Masonic organization he served as head of all the Masonic bodies here. He was also an honorary member of the Legion of Honor of Demolay, the Rotary Club and the First Methodist Church. Born July 24, 1888, he was a son of R. Lee and Lena Line Gray. He was married June 15, 1911 to the former Mable C. Hershberger who died 1ast July 21. Surviving is a son, Mark R. of Rochester, Minn.; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Haney of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Domenic; seven grandchildren, M. Robert Gray of Ft. Wayne, W. Daniel Gray who is serving in the U.S. Marines, Dr. W. Patrick Haney of Denver, Colo., H. Ryan Haney who is serving in the U. S. Army, and Matthew, Bryan and Dru Domenic, all of Elwood, and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hunt and Son Funeral Home here with Rev. Frank Little officiating. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Thursday. - kbz
